The 2017 sales at Kihei Alii Kai doubled from 2016 where it saw a $1.5 million increase in total sales volume to just over $3 million in transactions. Sales throughout 2017 were sporadic with February being the only month seeing more than 1 unit sold; January, April, July, September, and October did not see any sales. The Kihei Alii Kai market is popular among buyers because of the attractive price point which causes buyers to act quickly for fear of missing out. The most intriguing stat from last year were the final sale prices; 7 of the 8 units sold for under $400k and the remaining unit sold in the mid $400k price point.
