This past week, Dano Sayles, our principal broker and owner represented the entire Sayles team as he received his award for being the #2 real estate agent on Maui! Dano flew over to Honolulu to attend Hawaii Business Magazine’s Top 100 Gala event where the list is complied of Hawaii’s top 100 agents by sales volume.

It has been instrumental in facilitating the sale of Ho’olei Villa 81-6 and Hoolei Villa 52-1, two luxury Wailea condos that were not publicly offered for sale.

We first listed this property in the beginning of June 2017 which was close to the peak of the Ho’olei market. The top row units are valued so highly for their elevated and panoramic view corridors.
When it was first listed on the market, Ho’olei Villa 52-2 was easily the best unit for sale in complex with it being the only Maile floor plan available. The Ho’olei Villa 52-2 was originally sold in 2008 as an original developer offering, so this is the first time it will be transferred to a 2nd owner.

We are proud to secure our buyer clients a fabulous 4th row unit at Ho’olei! From the highest elevation in the complex, there aren’t many views that can compare. Initially listed in mid August of this year, the unit was a desirable commodity because the unit was never rented and the sellers hardly utilized it to its full potential.
We are extremely happy to have negotiated a great deal for our clients. The unit closed for a final sale price of $3.16 million, more than $200k off the original asking price!
With our specialization in resort properties, we are so excited to have converted one of our clients to picking up a Kapalua property! The Montage Kapalua in general is the premier condo complex on the West Side because the Montage brand guarantees buyers a certain level of luxury that comes with elite perks and unprecedented access.
After undergoing two price reductions, the new price point peaked the interest of our clients and excited them enough to write an offer. After some back and forth, we are proud to say we were able to close for over $350k under original asking at $3,125,000. .

The property was initially brought to market in the 8 figure range at the end of March. We are happy to say, we closed for a final sale price in the $8 million range which is more than $4 million off original asking.
Originally brought to market in the middle of March 2017, it was listed in the mid $900k range where the buyers stood firm on their list price.
