Maui Meadows Market Update: August 2013

Maui Meadows is nestled upon the lower slopes of Haleakala directly above the world famous Wailea Resort. The higher you ascend the slopes, the better the view, and correspondingly, the bigger the price tag. The homes in this subdivision vary from mid $500Ks to just under $9M.

Weather and Location

Maui Meadows is situated directly above Wailea Pualani and Kai Malu Wailea. With an average of less than 10 inches of annual rainfall, this south Maui location offers some of the best year-round weather on the Valley Isle. Resort amenities nearby include: three championship golf courses, the Wailea Tennis Club, and The Shops at Wailea.

Market Update and Activity for 2013

Maui Meadows has seen a very active market for the first half of 2013. This year to date, 17 homes have sold with an average price of $1,975,000. Furthermore, there are 9 pending sales, which should translate to another handful of closings before the end of the third quarter.

The listing inventory of homes for sale in Maui Meadows sits at 19  active listings. The average list price of a home sits at a little over $1,431,477.
