Paki Maui Market Update 2017

The Paki Maui complex is an interesting market to buy in because of the wide range of units available. On one hand, you can buy an oceanfront unit with supreme views for $900k+; but on another, you can scoop up an inner complex unit for well under $300k. In fact, over the last 5 years, the under $300k price point has dominated the market with 55% of sales. Anything above $600k rarely comes to market and can experience a max bag of days on the market.

In 2017, the Paki Maui saw little turnover with only $1.3 million in total sales volume; historically, 4-6 sales per year is what the market has seen since 2013. All 4 of the units sold were in the lower price point where 75% of the units sold were under $300k, while 1 unit was in the $400k price point. Because of the attractive list prices, units are priced right sell within months of coming to the market. 3 of the units sold last year were able to find new buyers within 2 months of coming to market.
