When reflecting on the past few months of the year, it is safe to say that a glass of wine is needed!

Coming up on its 40th year, the annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival will be occurring for transpiring for an entire fun-filled week! To adhere to the Covid safety measures, the restaurants and hotels in Kapalua will be offering an array of food and wine options at their individual establishments.

Festival Background

A tidbit on the history of the festival: It was established in 1981 by the non-profit Kapalua Wine Society intended to cultivate and enlighten folk about fine wines and other culinary commodities. Now, the festival hosts both local and international vendors to showcase their products to the guests that attend. It is one of the oldest festivals of its kind in the nation. In addition to being one of the oldest, it has also been voted #1 by USA Today in its Readers’ Choice of 2020 Wine Festivals.

    • Brewer Clifton Wine Feature – award winning wines of Greg Brewer paired with selected dishes

  • Banyan Tree Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua
    • Winemaker dinner featuring Hartford Court and Cardinale Vineyards Hosted by Jeff Stewart @ Hartford Court, Chris Carpenter @ Cardinale, Master Sommelier Michael Jordan.
• FRIDAY, JUNE 11TH
  • Taverna Restaurant – 6:30pm
    • Event Sold Out
• SATURDAY, JUNE 12TH
  • The Plantation House Restaurant – 6pm-9pm
    • Executive Chef Jared Krausen will be pairing his island inspired creations with Justin Vineyards premier wines. The event will be commencing on the Lower Lawn with the views of the award-winning Plantation Course and the neighboring island of Molokai. Wine and cocktail stations featuring Grey Goose Essence will also be offered.
  • Al Fresco Champagne Lunch at Montage Kapalua Bay – 11:30am-2pm
    • The event will be exploring five Laurent-Perrier Champagnes alongside an al fresco luncheon prepared by the culinary team at Montage Kapalua Bay led Executive Chef, Eric Faivre.

Important Festival Notes (FAQs)

• All events are 21 and older — No pets, children, and infants (even in strollers/carriers)
• Tickets purchased online can be scanned at the entrance of each event. Bring your receipt including the barcode, or bring it via your mobile phone.
• Uber will be available during the duration of the event to ensure safety and enjoyment
