All 5 of the current listings have come to market this year, 3 of which came to the market within the last month. It’s typical for these type of properties to take time to find the right buyer because of the significant investment into the property.
40% of the listings are in the Kihei area and priced under $6.8 million. The homes that are beachfront in Kihei are more “affordable” because they don’t carry the Wailea name, which means they can be bought at better price/sqft and represent a better value for those savy buyers.
The remaining 60% of the listings reside on Keawakapu beach and are regarded as some of the finest real estate on the island because of its desirable beachfront location and proximity to Wailea. Depending on the size of the home, level of finishes, year built, and acreage, the price can range anywhere from $10-$25 million.
