Family Fun

The The 44th Annual Seabury Hall Craft Fair is an annual Upcountry fair, drawing people from across the island and possibly beyond. The craft fair is always held on the Saturday before Mother’s Day and is the perfect place to pick up a last minute gift. As a graduate of Seabury Hall, I am no stranger to shopping for a last minute Mother’s Day gift at the fair, it hasn’t let me down yet! The fair is a great family oriented event that will include: live musical performances (some by faculty, current and former students, local talent); Restaurant Row; home-baked goods prepared by the Seabury Hall ohana; silent auction prizes: vacation packages (local and mainland), artwork, gift cards; carnival games, pony rides for kids; a huge rummage sale; and plant, flower arrangement, and lei sale.

  • When: May 13th from 8am-4:30pm
  • Where: Seabury Hall Campus

Adult’s Night Out

The 9th Annual Maui Brew Festival is probably one of the MACC’s more popular annual fundraising events. Every ticket includes tasty food from local restaurants and caterers, beer tastings from local and national craft breweries, live music, door prizes, and a home brew competition. If beer isn’t your thing, you can enjoy hard cider, hard kombucha, root beer, and of course the delicious food. Funds raised from the event are critical to the MACC’s arts, Hawaiian culture, community enrichment, and education programs.

  • When: Saturday, May 13th
    • VIP Exclusive Access: 2:00-3:30pm

The Arts & Culture

The17th Annual Maui Matsuri is presented by the Japanese Cultural Society of Maui with major support by the County of Maui, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and UH Maui College. The festival offers a chance to honor, celebrate, and perpetuate Japanese culture through festivities happening throughout the weekend. The main draw for the festival is the host of Japanese and Okinawan activities for all ages. There is also a ton of cultural food at the food zone with booths & food trucks, craft booths, entertainers, demonstrations, contests, cultural exhibits, kids games, crafts, and more. The organizers are encouraging many for a diverse turnout and plant to host the various contests: cosplay, video-gaming, manga and art, and natto and saimin eating.
