Just listed this hump day, Wailea Ekolu unit 914 comes in at a cool $1,195,000; almost $200k above the next closest listing and it is easy to see why. The $1.2 million asking price is quite high for the current Ekolu market, but the finishes are top notch and could be a deciding factor for some buyers.

Last year in 2014 there was a fair amount of activity in the neighborhood. Last year there was a turnover of eight homes totaling a sales volume of $6,345,000. Throughout the first half of the year there were only two units sold in the first half of the year. The rest of the sales came in a four month period from June to September. We proudly represented the buyers on the highest priced deal last year; it sold for $1 million, $200k off original list price. The lowest priced condo sold for $590,000; it was a nice little two bed, two bath unit with a little over 1000 square feet.

At the moment there are ten condos on the market representing a projected sales volume of $8,752,900 working out to an average list price of $875,290. The lowest priced home is listed at $549,000; it is a one bed, two bath unit with a little under 900 square. It could you use a little work abut other than that it is a good buy. The highest priced condo is the one pictured above at $1,195,000, it’s an absolute gem. The median price of a condo is $892,500 but the real story is that nine out of the ten listings are listed above $795,000.
