Best Wailea Deal in Kanani Wailea: 123 Poailani Place

Listed since early October of last year, this Kanani Wailea unit is just not feeling the love. It was originally listed at $925,000 and has sat untouched since, they have reduced the price and are now asking $849,000! It’s crazy that the owners were willing to drop the price that low, if you want the property the time is now. I’ll have to be honest, the home sits in close proximity to the road and has some road noise. In reality, when you’re inside the house it shouldn’t be too much and something that you get use to over time. I visited a friend up in unit close to the road and we spent the night in the back yard and the road noise isn’t an issue if you play some music.

Kanani Wailea Real Estate For Sale

Last year there were only two sales in the neighborhood totaling a sales volume of $2,115,000. The first home sold for $825,000, $25k under the the original list price. It was a spacious Ocean View 3 bedroom 2.5 bath, the owners took pride in their beautiful home with numerous upgrades which made this home worth making a move for. The highest priced home sold last year was a large single level home that sold as a pocket listing, it closed for $1,290,000.

At the moment there are six active listings in the community, an unusually large amount of listings in this particular neighborhood. There are two listings that stand out to me simply because of their list price, both are under $1,000,000. One of them is the one featured above at $849,000, and the other is a lovely two story home listed at $985,000. Then there are three other units all in the range of $1-1.1 million. Lastly, the highest priced home is listed for $1,430,000.

  1. We often stay in the Wailea area for winter vacations. We are looking for a long term rental this winter for 6 months with a budget of $3500 to $4500 per month starting in November or December . Is this something your company does? And if not, is there another company that you could recommend? Thank you for your help….. Jo
