Kanani Wailea Market Update

Neighborhood Overview

Kanani Wailea is a condominium complex tucked neatly away on the northern most edge of the Wailea Resort Community. Built in 2006, 38 well manicured units sit on just about 8.5 acres of prime Wailea Real Estate. This neighborhood is most comparable to Kai Malu at Wailea in terms of the sense of community, and great club house area. The resort homes feature nostalgic Hawaiian architecture which incorporate high quality construction.  The units have travertine lanais and fully-landscaped courtyards.  There is also a beautiful infinity edge pool for the residents at Kanani Wailea.

Kanani Wailea features 5 different floor plans ranging from 1,909 to 2,229 interior square feet. There are one and two story residences in the community, some which feature convenient guest ohanas.  The neighborhood is right next door to the Kilohana Ridge Homes For Sale.

Located on the Makai (ocean) side of the development is a nice park area. The community is conducive to walking or taking one’s golf cart down to Wailea’s 5 world class beaches. Keawakapu, one of my favorite beaches on Maui, is just a 5 minute stroll down the hill.

Market Activity

The Kanani Wailea market has been relatively inactive due to a shortage of distressed inventory. The “deals” have been purchased. There have been no units sold in 2013. To find the most recent unit sold, we have to go all the way back to July of 2012
