Santana will becoming to Maui for an awesome concert and a trip back in time! For more than four decades they have been producing global hits. A special experience for all, watch the rising the full moon over Mauna Kahalawai in West Maui. The Mokuula/Mokuhinia restoration site in Lahaina is in the spot to check out a free cultural and educational program open to the public. Hawaiian music and storytelling pair with popular musicians where they share the stage with local elders who tell their stories of Old Lahaina. It is held from from 6:00-8:00 pm at the beachfront Hale Halawai in Kamehameha Iki Park at 525 Front Street, Lahaina. Limited seating is provided for kupuna (elders); blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome.

A great activity for the family or to complete on your own, a 5K run or 1 Mile run/walk for all ages! “The Maui 5K seeks to promote health and fitness for Maui County’s children by giving our schools the ability to increase participation in youth sports and recreation programs by providing additional funds to maintain or purchase new equipment for their physical fitness, play and athletic programs.” Proceeds from the event will then be distributed to the schools based on each individual school’s participation. Cost: $25/person & $10/stroller. Date: Sunday, March 20th, 2016. Time: 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Support the Montessori O Keieki! Experience the red carpet allure of Hollywood and dine on creations concocted by some of Maui’s top restaurants! Enjoy wonderful food, a live and silent auction, and dancing as they ring in 25 years of Montessori Hale O Keiki. The Arts and the Culture

Na Leo Pulama ʻo Maui proudly hosts the 29th Annual Hoʻomau on Saturday, March 19 from 9 am-sunset at the Maui Nui Botanical Garden. It is scheduled to be a benefit concert for Pūnana Leo o Maui, a Hawaiian language immersion preschool. $10 presale, $15 at the gate, 10 years & under free Hawaiian music, crafters, demonstrations, live & silent auction, keiki zone, food, ʻawa bar. A drug, alcohol, and tobacco free event.

All day entertainment, foods and crafts will be at 27th annual Prince Kuhio Day celebration. The Paukukalo Hawaiian Homes Community Association Inc., a nonprofit organization, announced they will host a free community event to honor Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana`ole. He pioneered the 1920 federal Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, is regarded as the “father” of the Native Hawaiian homelands program, and also founded the Hawaiian civic club movement. Date: Saturday, March 26th, 2016. Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Paukukalo Hawaiian Homestead Park, Kaumualii St, Wailuku, HI USA 96793.

Cruise under the shaded trees of the Baldwin Home Museum lawn on the corner of Front and Dickenson Streets in Lahaina for a FREE Hawaiian music concert! Relax and take in the up-and-coming musicians dabbling in traditional and popular tunes, ukulele, slack key, and contemporary guitar. I suggest bringing mats, blankets, or low beach chairs to set up as there is limited seating. Scheduled from  6:00-7:30 pm on Thursday, March 31.
