I have the distinct pleasure of being able to work in one of the most beautiful places in the world. On my drive from the North Shore to our office, I often glance makai (towards the ocean), soaking up the gorgeous South Maui coastline. It was rare if I ever looked mauka (towards the mountains) up the rolling hills of Haleakakla. This all changed a few years ago, when Maui’s newest resort began construction, near the Maui Nui Golf Club.

I decided to turn up onto Lipoa Parkway to check it all out and was immediately impressed. Peaceful, towering trees lined the perfectly manicured sidewalks, reminding me of the entrance to another famed Maui resort, on Wailea Alanui Drive. I was thrilled with the fine craftsmanship and impressive architecture of the buildings already completed. The higher elevation over Kihei provided sweeping views of the South Coast to the West Maui Mountains. At that moment, it was clear—the brand new Hokulani Golf Villas would more than hold its own with other recently completed luxury South Maui neighborhoods, like Kai Malu and Kanani Wailea.

What Makes Hokulani Golf Villas Special?
