December 2022 Calendar of Events

From all of us here at the Sayles Team, we hope that you had an amazing Thanksgiving with your ohana! Tis’ the season and Hawaiian holiday cheer is in full effect. Festive decorations, twinkling lights and lawn ornaments are all starting to resurface after a near year long hibernation.

If you are the type to skip Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Maui is the perfect location to shop small for all your holiday gifting needs. With that in mind, I’ll start this month’s guide with two such shopping opportunities. I will also highlight an anticipated charity golf tournament here in South Maui, as well as two world class concerts in Central Maui that you won’t want to miss!

Hui Holidays First Night Celebration

Hui Holidays First Night Celebration returns in-person for 2022! Hire a babysitter. Grab some friends. Knock that wish list off in style as you shop, sample, sip and saunter to spirited music while surrounded by the dramatically decorated Kaluanui estate.

Pop-up vendors (listed below) will adorn the Hui’s Courtyard in a winter wonderland of local and handmade items. Maui artist Melody Koerber will create this year’s seasonal paper dress with recyclable wrapping paper from Wrappily. Enjoy a festive a cappella performance by Maui Madrigale and a special guest visiting. Don’t forget, the Hui’s elves are always happy to help check items off of your shopping list!
