Following the end to Hawaii’s mask mandate and the end of the Safe Travels Program, pent up travel demand continues to ramp up with start of Maui’s busy summer season. According to the 2022 Outlook report released by Expedia Group, Maui ranked twice in the top five most searched visitor destinations on travel platforms, VRBO and Expedia. Maui was the second most searched destination on VRBO, while also claiming the fifth spot on Expedia.
