While the Wailea Tennis Club is extremely popular among visitors and locals, there are a handful of condo complexes in the Wailea and Makena area that cater to those with a passion for tennis.
There are only four complexes in total that offer exclusive access to their own tennis court(s). Three are in Wailea, while the remaining two are in Makena. Plus there are three complexes that are within minutes to the Wailea Tennis Club.
Wailea Complexes
Wailea Point offers two different tennis courts on site. One is on the northern side of the complex bordering the Four seasons with the second court at the top of the complex bordering Wailea Alanui Drive. They even have a pickle ball court here as well!
With only one tennis court here smack dab in the middle of complex, it may challenging at times to secure a court time. Offering beachfront access, killing time at the beach isn’t the worst way to spend your time waiting for your court time.
Wailea Ekahi is a popular beachfront destination for Maui visitors made up of 296 units in 54 two-story buildings that were built in 1978. The ocean front property sits on just over 10 acres of tropical land and is located at the south end of Keawakapu Beach.
Makena Complexes
Arguably the closest tennis court to the ocean! Makena Surf offers residents four courts in total for enjoyment! Both are located on the portion of the complex bordering Wailea Alanui Drive.
Discovery Makena
At Makena’s most prestigious community, residents of the Makena Golf & Beach Club have access to their own private onsite tennis club. For more details about this exclusive community, please get in touch with us via the contact info below.
Close But Not Quite
Located just across the street from the Wailea Tennis Club, some units here close enough that you can hear the tennis balls bouncing around. While there is not tennis court on the grounds of the Grand Champions, the Wailea Tennis Club is just a short stroll away.
