January Calendar of Events 2021

Maui and the rest of the Hawaiian island chain have happily welcomed back visitors to the islands under the state’s official pre-travel testing program. Take a drive down South Kihei Road or Front Street in Lahaina and you will immediately notice the increase in visitors; almost reminiscent of peak busy season pre-COVID. With the distribution of the vaccine to the public, we anticipate the influx of visitors and new residents to continue.

Although businesses and attractions are open under the COVID guidelines, we still must mind the necessary steps and precautions to stay safe and healthy. In the meantime, check out some of our great Maui No Ka Oi content!

I’m so stoked for my buddy Zach Sato and his new spot Havens in North Kihei. The Saimin and Smash Burgers are seriously unreal and well worth the wait. They are doing takeout only at this time, so I would highly recommend calling them 20 minutes before you want to pick up your grinds. 

Already a local favorite, Havens is making waves among the Maui community with its killer offerings including. The menu is reminiscent of what Zach ate growing up, but enhanced with his 10+ years of experience as the former chef de cuisine at Hotel Wailea.

Wailea Oceanfront Boardwalk

Where else in the world do you have the pleasure of strolling pass five world class beaches, eight premier luxury hotels, coveted shoreline access, and the potential for whale (season permitting) and turtle watching in a 1.5 mile stretch?

The world famous Wailea oceanfront boardwalk traverses some of Wailea’s best real estate, where it is well known for its winding stone path stretching a little over three miles (roundtrip). The path stretches from Keawakapu Beach on the northern edge of Wailea and ends at the Makena border of Polo Beach.

3D technology like Matterport enable buyers to get a feel for a property’s layout, while it allows sellers to easily showcase their property to anyone with the 3D virtual tour link.

With a virtual tour, users can tour the property as if they are walking through it themselves (think of Google street view) and it also givers users the ability to see a birds eye view of the property floor plan.
