After close to a full year, the Wailuku real estate market has seen $157 million in running sales volume and will look to finish off the year with a strong end of the year run. Bolstered by new home sales, close to 66% of the homes sold were resale deals. In the upper end of the market, less than 10% of the homes sold were above the $1 million barrier.
Many buyers favor Wailuku for its barrier to entry and convenience in Central Maui. $36 million worth of Wailuku real estate sits in escrow for a total of 41 homes.
