Close to 20% of the homes sold above the $1+ million range which is atypical for a market like Makawao which is known for its attractive barrier to entry. Of the 53 homes sold, only 1 home sold needed more than 1 year, while close to 25% of the homes were sold within 2 months of coming to market. The Makawao market is still appealing to buyers where more than 50% of the homes sold for under $700k.
