Over 60% of the homes sold far this year were under $1 million, where the $500k and $800k price range have been the most popular. The Kihei area is popular among buyers because of all of the lifestyle amenities available in Kihei, while still being in convenient proximity to town. As you can imagine, as you get closer to Wailea and the beach, homes become more pricey; while homes on the mauka side with the exception of Maui Meadows being more affordable.

The Kihei market tends to move fast as the average days on market is 96 days with the year low being just 4 weeks. Less than 10 homes were sold for under $700,000, while 7 homes sold above $1 million.
