Sugar Beach Resort saw strong sales last year with an average of 1 unit sold per month for a total sales volume of over $8.5 million. Sales were sporadic throughout the year with no real consistency. Only 1 unit needed longer than 6 months to sale while the rest were sold in 4 months or less. The strong demand is driven by the short term rental income and beachfront location.
For the most part, sales have been concentrated around the $500k and $700k range with 50% of the sales falling under $650,000. 2019 has seen 1 outlier sale that was in excess of $1.39 million and entered escrow after 3 days on the market. Buyers on average should expect to pay around $1000/sqft, but can sometimes get into the complex for around $700-$800/sqft.
