Maui Vista Market Update 2018

After a strong start to Q1 with 3 units sold, the hot start for Maui Vista continued into April 3 sales. Since April, the market has cooled off considerable with no sales, but a bright outlook continues with 3 units sitting in escrow. Of the 6 units sold, 5 were able to find a new buyer within 3 months of coming to market, while only 1 unit needed close to 4 months to sell.

Sales have been well dispersed with each of the $300k, $400k, and the $500k ranges seeing 2 units sold. 1 bedroom sales have dominated the market with 66% of the sales, while two 2 bedroom sales complete the picture. In terms of price/sqft., buyers should expect to pay around $600-$750.
