Family Fun

The Easter Bunny will be arriving on Saturday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00am at Queen Kaahumanu Center! Along with Easter Bunny arrival fanfare will be an age-specific keiki egg hunt and coloring contest with prizes and fun keiki crafts from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  DJ Bunny will spin fun spring tunes and give away Easter Bunny ears and balloons. Just bring your Easter basket. Photos with the Easter Bunny available:

  • Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm (carrot breaks 1 to 1:45pm and 4 to 4:45pm)
  • Saturdays, 10am to 6pm (carrot breaks 12:30 to 1:15pm and 3:30 to 4:15pm)
  • Sundays from 10:00am to 4:00pm (carrot breaks 1:00pm to 1:45pm).

Go on down to the 15th Annual Ho’olaule’a where there is something for everyone! So join the fun at this local style, family fun event that offers great food, entertainment, crafts and games for the keiki (children) and a teen zone.  Shop for unique items from local vendors, a Country Store, the Blue and White Rummage, and the awesome Silent Auction! All proceeds go towards supporting enrichment programs not funded by the school. When: Saturday, April 13th from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Where: Kamehameha Schools campus.

Imua Family Services is proud to bring to the Color Festival Hawaii to Maui as a friend-raiser, a family-friendly gathering, and a place for all children to be included. The Color Festival will feature nonstop live music leading up throwing to the colors and will include: Rayland Baxter of Nashville TN, DJ Boomshot, Shea Butter & The Cream, and Yum Yum Beast. Tickets: $20 ; $15 keiki age 6-16 (includes 1 color pack); FREE for keiki up to 5 years (plus applicable fees). When: Saturday, April 13, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Where: Maui Arts and Cultural Center. 

The 2019 Maui Heart Walk is an awesome event that is designed to bring families and friends together to learn, share and practice lifestyle habits that will lead to longer lives free of heart disease and stroke. All proceeds from the Walk benefit the American Heart Association of Hawaii’s research, education, health advocacy and community services programs. When: Saturday, April 20th from 7:00am to 9:00am. Where: Keopuolani Park.

The Arts & Culture

Throw it back to the 60’s with a trip back in time to enjoy the one and only Beach Boys! The Beach Boys have continued to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut over 50 years ago. Enjoy some family fun while listening to some of their old and new hits! When: Friday, April 12th starting at 7:30pm. Where: Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Cost: $50, $60, $70, $90; $134/Gold Circle (plus applicable fees)

Ti Time at Hawai‘i Nature Center is a unique children and family friendly event with a unique cultural approach that will allow attendees to explore the ancient art learning how to weave ti leaf leis with a hands-on experience. This event is open to children, ages 6 and older, and their parents; limited reservations are available as these are small group experiences. When: Saturday, April 13th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Where: Hawaii Nature Center in Iao Valley. Cost: $20.
