For reference, 2018 saw 9 units sold for a total sales volume of just over $6.1 million. In fact, we represented the sale of 1 unit for a final sold price of $560,000. The complex is well known in the Wailea real estate community for its low barrier to entry and quick deals. A little more than half of the sales were closed within 4 months of being listed; the remaining units were all sold within 9 months of coming to market.

The current Grand Champions inventory poses an interesting glimpse into market with the majority of units for sale representing the upper price point of the market. Right now is a strong time for buyers to enter with 66% of the units being listed for longer than 6 months. The extended stay on the market is welcome sign for buyers who are looking to pick up a unit.
With units falling in a tight $160k range from lowest to highest, buyers should be aware that they are operating in the higher end of the market. However, considering the market is tight in this range, buyers have more room to negotiate a better deal as the units can act as substitutes for one another.
