I’m so excited to be sharing another amazing trip with you—an adventure that’s sure to be one of best yet. For this journey, I’ll be highlighting international culture, food, architecture, real estate, luxury hotels and business relationships, in true ‘round the world fashion!

As with most of my international travels from Maui, the first destination is Honolulu, and one of my favorite hotels, the Prince Waikiki. Located above the Ala Wai Harbor, with views of Diamond Head, Magic Island, and one of the best summer-time surf breaks “Bowls,” the resort is also within walking distance to the shopping paradise that is Ala Moana Center. Finally, when you consider the Prince offers one of my favorite buffets in all of Hawaii, just down the elevator from my room, it’s easy to remember why I continuously choose to stay at this awesome hotel!
There’s no shortage of ocean excitement around Waikiki and Diamond Head.
New Real Estate Developments on Oahu
Honolulu’s growth has been astonishing to witness since I moved to Hawaii over 30 years ago. Recently, some of the most impressive properties being built are by the Howard Hughes Corporation. Between ONE Ala Moana and Ward Village, there will be 6 luxury high-rises—all setting the bar with their design, amenities and sustainable community development. I also toured the new Park Lane; and let me tell you first hand, this is a stand out residence! Directly next door to the Ala Moana Center, this wonderfully private residential resort, in the middle of it all, is the ideal Hawaiian oasis.
It’s hard to have a bad day on Oahu, there really is something for everyone.
Looking Ahead with International Eyes
Leaving Oahu, or anywhere in Hawaii for that matter, is always bitter-sweet. But I take solace in the fact that picture-perfect weather and the aloha spirit are always waiting upon my arrival. However this trip is just getting started, so let’s look forward, because we are going on a global whirlwind, and I couldn’t be more excited! In the first week alone, I’ll be visiting good friends John Fou and the rest of RE/MAX Japan; touring Hong Kong and staying at the “Grand Dame of the Far East, the legendary Peninsula Hotel; and traveling to India for the first time, where I’ll meet the RE/MAX office in New Delhi.

I’m beyond excited to visit these (and more!) exotic locations for both Book ‘Em Dano Travel and RE/MAX International—representing the brand internationally, travelling to as many regional offices as possible, and being the Ambassador of Aloha! I hope that you’ll continue to join me on this worldwide exploration, it’s sure to be a true celebration of adventure.
