Haleakala Gardens Market Update 2018

The Haleakala Gardens market has had a solid year so far with $3 million done in running sales volume and could get even better with 2 more units sitting in escrow. The first quarter of the year saw most of the action with just over 70% of sales coming in those 3 months. The month March has been the most productive and has done double the volume compared to the next most productive month. Units here do not last long and get snatch up pretty quickly if they are priced attractively. All 9 of the units sold this year were able to find a buyer with 6 months of coming to market.

The Haleakala Gardens complex is quite popular among buyers because of its low barrier to entry. In just this year alone, 3 units were sold in the $200k price point and are very appealing to buyers looking in this range. The smallest units are studios at around 500 sqft, but you will mostly see the 2 bedroom units that are available. The 3 bedroom units are also popular as they make up more than 50% of the sales in the complex. The $300k price point is the most dominant with 5 sales, while 1 sale in $40ok rounds out 2018 sales so far.
