So far in 2018, there have been no sales in the complex. To get an understanding of the market, we can look at 2017 sales data for a better idea.
Island Surf Market Update 2017
Island Surf in general does not do a lot of business on a yearly basis. With only 82 units in total, there is a limited amount of units and owners are reluctant to sell because of their satisfaction with the property. In 2017, yearly sales volume barely surpassed $1.4 million where other Kihei condo complex of similar size can do 3, 4, or 5 times that in a year. Units here did not not last long on the market as all 3 sales closed with 6 months of coming to market.
Units at Island Surf are not in a bad price point and range anywhere from $400-$600k depending on view, number of bedrooms, and the level of remodel. Last year saw 2 units sell in the $400k range and 1 in the $500k price point. Buyers can expect to pay anywhere from $400-$500/sqft.
