The Wailea Point market in 2017 saw an extremely productive year with $37,371,969 in total sales volume. 2017 sales outperformed 2016 sales by 180% in terms of the number of transactions and by more than double in sales volume. Units at Wailea Point experience a little longer time on the market than some of the other condos because of their steep list prices and maintenance fees; units in 2017 spent an average days on market of 324.
Sales in 2o17 came in waves with spring seeing 5 sales, 1 sale in summer, and 3 sales in fall with 0 in winter. As far as price points, the $3 and $4 million were most productive with 3 while 2 units sold for under $3 million. The highest priced unit sold in excess of $8.5 million.

The current inventory of Wailea Point condos for sale represent the various types of units available to prospective buyers. On the very low end, buyers can get into the complex for under $2 million which would be an absolute value buy because of the proximity to the beach, great Wailea location, fantastic amenities available, and the prestige associated with the community. However, very rarely do buyers ever get into the community for that price. More realistically, the low end of Wailea Point is around $2.1-$2.5 million.
The high end of Wailea Point is a little hard to decipher; some units have been combined to create stunning 4500+ sqft units that are absolutely magnificent properties because they sometimes occupy a full building cluster. As the unit gets closer to the ocean, the more pricey they are because of the unparalleled ocean views and access to the beach.
At the moment, most of the inventory is priced above $3.5 million, so the current make up of the inventory is quickly approaching the high end of the market. Note that because the complex is low density and sits on 25+ acres of lush oceanfront Wailea acreage, community maintenance fees can get a little steep.
