Polo Beach in Wailea, Maui, represents a pair of crescents shaped beaches of white sand fronting the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort and the luxury condominiums of the Polo Beach Club (more below). This beach is interesting because it straddles both Wailea and Makena. On one side is the commercialized resort life of Wailea, while the other is of luxury beach homes and private residences.

The beach itself is popular among locals and visitors because of its picturesque sandy shores and clear crystal blue waters. It is an excellent choice for taking the kids to play, relaxing on the shore, going for an easy going swim, or snorkeling around the rocky points of the beach. In the morning, the water is when it is the most calm and by the afternoon the wind and waves pick up.

With convenient access to Wailea and Makena, Polo Beach is very popular and can get crowded at times. Luckily enough there is a beach just down the road called White Rock or Palauea Bay.
