At the moment there are 11 active units on the market, a rather atypical number of units available to buyers; a more typical number that we usually see the market hover around over the lat few numbers is 8, give or take a few listings depending on the time of year.MAUI367436Z

When our clients bring a unit to market we advise them of the trade offs of listing depending on the time of year and urgency of their selling time frame. If a seller chose to list in the busy season (spring, winter, and summer break) it would be hard to maximize vacation rental revenue and access to the unit for potential buyer showings. If a seller listed in the off season, foot traffic through the community will be less than compared to the busy season resulting in a smaller pool of potential buyers. Timing the market is hard and it is our job to do just that for our clients and put them in positions to reach their end goal.
