Rare Offering at Makena Place

Beachfront Luxury: Makena Place Unit 4

Makena Place is one of the first choice locations for a beach house in Makena, however, getting the chance to make an offer on one of the ten mansions in the neighborhood is the actual challenge. There aren’t many more neighborhoods that come more exclusive than this one. The beach that sits right in front of the home is actually a protected ocean reserve, meaning it is teaming with ocean life and is in abundance of coral. The best time to snorkel or hit the beach in Makena is early morning to about noon, anytime after that and your’re going to be visited by the Makena cloud (the South Maui topography creates a cloud stretching from Ulupalukua over Makena and onto Kaho’olawe).

Spacious and designed by Maui based architect, Hugh Farrington, the residence is residential condominium community which makes it feel like home but is maintained like a condo. Unit four is in a premier location with it being about 50 yards or so from a crescent shaped, white sandy beach. With a feel of contemporary and attention, it encompasses 4,370 sq. ft. of living space, 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and a recently remodeled kitchen. Incredible view sweeps the Blue Pacific ocean with 5 outer island vistas, and sunsets all year long.

Makena Real Estate

The Makena real estate market only experienced ten sales last year with none being made this year. Last year saw two Makena Place condos sold for an average price of $7,900,000, one was sold in the mid $6 million range and the other sold for just under 8 figures.

There are no listings in Makena Place at the moment besides unit 4 that just came on the market.

At the moment there are 7 Makena properties for sale representing a total projected sales volume of $65,236,000. That number gets some help from 3 luxury residential condos listed at $9,250,000, these villas are some of the best new construction offerings in the Makena area. The average price to get into Makena home right now is a cool $9.3 million. As you can tell, the price point that Makena commands is only open to a handful of people, it pretty much guarantees exclusivity into an elite group of home owners.
