Halloween Activities on Maui

Family Fun

From 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm the grounds of Hope Chapel Kihei will be hosting their Second Annual Trunk or Treat. It will be full of cars decorated with Halloween fare, and loaded tons of treats for the little ones. Hay rides, mechanical bull rides, a petting zoo, an indoor keiki zone, and lots’ of affordable food, are allo nthe cards. All proceeds benefit FreeWorldNow.org., an amazing orgnization dedicated to stopping human trafficking.

Front Street, Lahina, highlights include the 36th Annual Keiki Halloween Costume Parade at 4:30pm Maui keiki are encouraged to come in costume and parade down Front Street to Banyan Tree Park. Mayor Alan Arakawa and his wife Ann will be participating in the festivities. Live entertainment at Campbell Park begins at 6pm featuring The Haiku Hillbilly’s “Halloween in Lahaina.”

There are also many neighborhoods on Maui that are great to take the little to. In the Upcountry area I highly recommend Kula Kai which is just up the road from Waipuna Chapel. Also the homes on the Golf Course of the Pukalani Country Club is another great community. On the North Shore, you can never go wrong with Spreckelsville; it’s a safe and extremely family friendly neighborhood.

Adult Fun

Rocky Horror Picture Show & Halloween Party! RHPS is a participatory experience, fun accessories will be available to bring even the dead back to life. Costume Contest – dress up in your most creative halloween costume for a chance to win first prize!  Definitely a great Halloween Party on Maui! Live music with Eric Gilliom & Sins Of The Flesh, and dance music from DJ Pio Marasco keeping the boogie-man alive. There’ll be great food, beverages, prizes, and people-watching. This event for age 21 & over only. 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Cruise into the sunset and on through to a starlit night while enjoying some tasty cocktails and wickedly good appetizers aboard the Pacific Whale Foundation’s ultra-smooth catamaran. Included in the night is a two hour stopover in Lahaina to experience a Halloween on Front Street. Ticket prices are round-trip with departures from Ma’alaea at 6:00pm and 6:30pm. Please allow 4.5 hours for this trip, including two hours in Lahaina. For reservations, call Pacific Whale Foundation at (808) 249-8811 ext. 1 or book online at pacificwhale.org.

Shop through dozens of art galleries in Lahaina Town on Friday from 7 to 10 pm to view special gallery shows, featured artists-in-action, and refreshments, all free and open to the public! Lahaina is the “The Art Capital of the Pacific,” due to more art galleries per capita than any other American town.

Our team has been blessed with the opportunity to have been part of this luxurious community since its infancy stages back in 2005. We’ve been in the in house sales team for the past 6 years. It truly brings a smile to my face when I see first time guests, return visitors, and full-time residences who embrace and wholeheartedly love their Maui lifestyle.
