Broker/Owner Meeting With RE/MAX Thailand

Back In Bangkok With RE/MAX Thailand

RE/MAX Thailand Broker/Owners

It’s so hard to believe I’ve only been in Asia for a few days as I have already accomplished so much! After leaving Tokyo, I decided to return to Bangkok for further exploration of how to maximize my time in the country—we are quickly working on our expansion into Northern Thailand with the RE/MAX Chiang Mai office, and I want to make the process as smooth as possible.

Ready for business!

This morning I got an early start from my newest lodging, the Four Wings Hotel Bangkok, which is centrally located and next to the RE/MAX Thailand corporate HQ. I was picked up by Eran Milo, the regional owner of RE/MAX Thailand, his wife and their 2 kids, a 7 month old girl and 2 year old boy. From there we made a short trip to meet with other broker/owners of RE/MAX Thailand at a nearby coffee shop.

A lovely meeting with some of the members of the RE/MAX Thailand family

Along with the broker/owners, we also met with Holberg Masson of Softverk, the RE/MAX Thailand technology partner. He is currently working on a new software for us that would serve as a portal that supports our listings and available inventory. We enjoyed our drinks and had a little brainstorming session where a lot of good ideas were exchanged and expanded upon. From there, a few of us went back to the corporate office to do some official broker/owner training, as well as just getting to know one another better by sharing our experiences, both professionally and personally.

It was during this time that I had the opportunity to share some of the recent success I’ve had in Asia, specifically my Beijing and Tokyo trips. I explained my current partnership with 5i5j and how I was already seeing requests from buyers looking at Chiang Mai and Phuket. I was happy to be able to pass on these leads to the brokers in their respective markets as that’s what being apart of the RE/MAX family is all about—working closely together to take care of clients needs.

Next up…2014 AREAA Korea Trade Mission!

I will spend the next couple days in Thailand, with some more training tomorrow at the office before I’m back in the air again on my way to the next leg of this incredible Asian journey! And what an exciting leg it should be! I’ll be meeting back up with my middle son, Alex, in South Korea with hopes of taking our global business to even another level. I’m always striving to stay ahead of the curve, with the ultimate goal of creating new contacts and leads here to provide with my clients back in Hawaii. With that in mind, we decided a few months ago to be a part of the AREAA Korea Trade Mission in Seoul. There, we will be spending nearly a week networking with local professionals and attending various conferences, symposiums and presentations. I have no doubt that it’s going to be a very productive expereince, and we will be sure to get out some articles as soon as possible! So be sure stay tuned to get an insider’s perspective of one of the fastest growing markets in the world.
