We are extremely proud to announce that we have contracted local design firm, Maui Hue, to be the exclusive interior designers of our new model complex at the Hokulani Golf Villas! The staging of homes can make all the difference, it gives buyers a sense of how spaces function rather than just trying to imagine how spaces could be utilized. We are trusting Maui Hue to give us the edge and push these spectacular residential condos that much more over the top.

It’s always a pleasure to work with a fellow Seabury Hall grad, Jessica Guard McLellan and of course her business partner Wendy Takemoto. Both come highly educated in their field and are fully capable of taking the interior of our models to where we would like it to be.

After high school, Jessica decided to take the leap and move to the east coast where she studied architecture at New York University and received a degree in interior design at the Art Institute of Seattle. She was featured in the Modern Luxury Hawaii’s “Best of The Isles 2008” issue for her efforts in the advocation of the movement towards sustainable design. Her style seamlessly meshes natural elements with detailed hints of glamor to create soothing and relaxing spaces.

While, Wendy comes highly recommended with an impressive resume to back it up. Before partnering with Jessica to start Hue, she was designing upscale residential homes throughout California and Hawaii. Upon completion of University of Southern California, she entered the design field  working for “Hollywood Legend” designer, Carol Poet, of Poet Design Company. In 2004, Wendy decided to return home to Oahu, where she worked as a designer for Long & Associates in Honolulu.

Together they, “describe our offerings as beach luxe: a bold blend of fun patterns, bright colors and trendy accessories that are perfect for a modern island lifestyle.” It’s the prefect style for Hokulani owners, it brings the outdoors indoors which is always something special. It also alludes to the fact that some of Maui’s best beaches are just a 5-10 minute drive down the road.

The Hokulani Golf Villas are finally starting to gain the recognition they always deserved: Kihei’s most desirable gated community. Slowly materializing is the new standard to South Maui luxury, upscale and interiorly stunning residential styled condominiums.

Due to popular demand, there are Only 6 Single Level Floor Plans Left in Phase II! The single levels are most popular due to our clientele’s needs. Many of them tend to own Hokulani as second or even third residences, so the extra space is not at the top of their priority list. However, the neighborhood is not only for part time residents. In fact, I think families will enjoy the community just as much or even more than the part timer residents. The low density means that there is always plenty of room at the clubhouse pool and minimal traffic so kids can go outside and run around.

With phase II is moving along nicely with about 20 or so homes still up for grabs, we are expecting the highly anticipated phase III to be released in 2015.

The homes come in either single or 2-story models, with 6 different floor plans, offering 2-3 bedrooms plus a den. A loft can also be designed into the two story models. The interior living area is quite roomy, as it ranges from about 1,800 to 2,500 sf.  All homes come with a 2 car garage and concrete driveway.
