There are few moments in a realtor’s life that bring quite as much emotion and pleasure as does opening up a new office and brokerage with family. We feel incredibly blessed to have done just that with a new Wailea office along side my Sayles Team Ohana!
Once again, Reverend Alika of Makena Congregational performed a beautiful Hawaiian ceremony and imparted wise words along with an abundance of aloha spirit. He brought up some very important points in that we have a responsibility to the land and people of Maui. With each transaction, the past must be preserved and the future of the ʻĀina protected. Our team is very conscious of this responsibility and we take it with pride and honor.
Lucas Woodford summed it up nicely with his thoughts:
I love Maui, and it’s my home. I was born and raised here and it’s near and dear to my heart. It’s such a joy sharing this island with people who love it TOO! And getting to share the intricacies, details, why it’s so amazing, telling stories and getting to share the Aloha with people that have already been coming to Maui for years. These are people that also have a love affair with Maui, and being able to connect them with the land has truly been an honor.
When discussing the opportunity this new office represents, Michael Scott put it well:
There are a multitude of reasons I’m excited about the new company (RE/MAX Lifestyle) and new Wailea office, but I’ll boil it down to one simple thing: I recognize this as being the ideal platform to serve, and for me there’s no greater purpose than to identify the ways and opportunities to make other people’s lives better. So I see this as a great place for us to all serve the people that are important to us.
My final comment before enjoying great food, drinks, and conversation at Matteo’s (next door to us):
It inspires me everyday to think that we all get to work together, have fun and help people realize their dreams!
