In comparison to the Wailea and Makena condo market, the number of homes sold lags a little behind; but in terms of dollar amounts, the residential market has the upper hand. To be specific, there have been eight units sold for a total of $27,057,500. Homes that sold so far this year were in the range of $1,170,000-$9,300,000; the average sold price was $3,382,187 with an average days on the market of 158.

In addition to Unit 10 of Makena place being sold, unit 1 was also sold for $6,500,000. Both transactions are extremely rare as homes in Makena Place rarely come on the market; in 2013 no homes were sold in that particular neighborhood. The community is valued for its pristine beach front location and immaculate craftsmanship of each home.

The Wailea residential market is set to get even hotter as there a total of ten homes in escrow with a projected sales volume of $34,376,000.
