Wailea Kialoa: Lack of Inventory: Prices on the Rise

Traditional Wailea Lifestyle

Wailea Kialoa is a luxury gated community consisting of 102 homes on 34 acres. Located right below The Wailea Pualani Estates and directly above the Palms at Wailea Condos for Sale, this neighborhood offers breathtaking ocean views of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and the West Maui Mountains. Lot sizes range from 9,000 to 12,000 square feet. The homes were custom built to fit the specific needs and Hawaii lifestyle of each homeowner. The neighborhood is a great place to raise a family because of the gated entrance and overall safe community atmosphere. Home sizes vary greatly from 1700 to 4500 square feet.  Wailea Kialoa also overlooks the Papali Wailea Homes For Sale and the Wailea Kai Homes For Sale.

Wailea Kialoa is most comparable to the Wailea Pualani Estates in terms of price, house styles, and prestige. Although Wailea Kialoa was developed in the 1980s, the majority of the homes here are very well kept. The neighborhood offers a more lay back, family oriented lifestyle compared to other parts of the the Wailea Resort. Because of the gated entrances and affordable prices, full time families are more drawn to this part of town . Homeowners at Wailea Kialoa have the best of both worlds.  The community is located on the cusp of Kihei/Wailea, making it easy for residents to enjoy a night of indulgence at the Shops of Wailea after a full day of relaxing at the beach in Kihei.

Market Activity:

The market at Wailea Kialoa has been relatively quiet this year as there is very little inventory available. There has been 1 home sold this year to date for $2,800,000. Currently, there are no active listings advertised in the Maui MLS.
