We initially brought this unit to market in early May of this year. We priced it fantastically and was just in time for the summer busy season. The unit’s 300+ sqft of outdoor space encourages residents to get outside and enjoy Wailea’s perfect year round weather, which is a major selling point for buyers looking to soak up the sun. Throughout its time on the market, we held the list price firm because we were confident in its value and knew Wailea buyers would be interested in its price point. Offering over 3000 sqft of interior living, it is the largest floor plan available in the community and can really be felt in the oversized living room and bedrooms.
We eventually were able to sell the unit for $2,280,000.

Initially listed in mid August of this year, the unit was a desirable commodity because the unit was never rented and the sellers hardly utilized it to its full potential. Ho’olei Market Update 2017
The Ho’olei community is something we pride ourselves in. We are on site 7 days a week, so we get the opportunity to get in front of buyers everyday and expand our already robust database of Ho’olei buyers, sellers, and prospects. Looking at the raw sales statistics, the Ho’olei market in 2017 has been top heavy; 86% of the sales have sold for at least $2.8 million or higher while 3 sales have closed for more than $3.1 million. While on the low end, only one unit sold in the $2.2 million price point. Overall, the $2 million range is where most of the deals take place; the $3 million range is reserved for the best of the best and anything sold in the upper $1 million price point is an absolute steal.

Ho’olei Wailea Real Estate guide
At the moment, the Ho’olei market is slim pickings. With only 3 available units for sale, buyers will know to act quickly if they see something they like. The winter influx of visitor creates stronger demand in the market and there aren’t many comparable Wailea condos to choose from.
Interestingly, 3 listings are priced above $3 million and 1 listing is priced under $2 million. The market is currently representative of two extremes, the absolute upper end and the pretty much lowest price you can get into Ho’olei for.
