4th Annual Made in Maui County Festival 2017

Supporting the Maui Economy

The Made in Maui County Festival is an awesome event that was created to stimulate the Maui economy by boosting local sales and awareness of locally made products. Developed as an initiative of the County of Maui Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Maui Chamber of Commerce, the festival aims to display the hard work and creativity of the Maui community.

Just recently, the product vendors and food trucks were announced for this year’s 4th annual Made in Maui County Festival, which is slated for the 3rd and 4th of November at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

The festival is a great service and cause for the community because of the 140+ product vendors that are able to showcase their pride and joy. At the festival, there is a wide selection of vendors on display with goods ranging from foods to produce, arts & crafts, clothing, furniture and much more more. This year they are featuring 35 brand new businesses that have never been at the event; 16 will be coming  from Molokai, while there will be 5 from Lanai. In addition, 4 new Maui food trucks on Friday and 13 on Saturday.

I recommend taking a peak of the list at:

Because the main goal of the festival is to support to Maui, participants had to meet a strict and set criteria of being a Maui County based business. Even the products needed to meet a firm criteria including: a minimum 51% of their value added in Hawaii, branding, packaging, online presence and interest in exporting.
