Brought to the Kauhale Makai market in late April, the unit offers a fantastic floor plan and is large ground floor unit which opens up right to a common green area right off of the lanai. After coming to the market in the mid $300k range, the unit underwent a few price reductions before it was able to garner some interest. After close to 3 months on the market, an all cash offer of $282,500 was enough for the buyers to accept.

The Kauhale Makai market is experiencing a running sales volume of $1,940,500. The community represents a great value because of the low barrier to entry and the close proximity to the beach. The location in South Kihei Road is within to the center of Kihei which offers dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Interestingly, 5 0f the 6 units sold were in the $300k price range, while only 1 unit sold in the $20ok range. The most popular closings this year have been the 1 bedroom units with more than 80% of the units sold have been the 1 bed units. The community is set for more activity as 4 units are currently sitting in escrow.
