The neighborhood carries some high barriers to entry that include: steep list prices, inventory that is slim to none on a regular basis, and reluctance of owners to sell. Since 2012, only 2 units have been sold for a total sales volume of $13.7 million; one sold for $6.9M while the other closed for $6.8M. Each lot in Maluhia at Wailea is just under 1/2 an acre, so residents have plenty of room to spread out and soak up the warm Wailea days. The community borders Mokapu Beach and offers its pristine sandy shores for all to relax on and enjoy.
