Haiku Market Update
This year to date, there have been 62 Haiku homes sold for a running sales volume of $57,185,249; more than a third of the homes have sold for $1 million while only 3 homes have sold in the $300k price range. The average home price in Haiku is around $922,342, however some properties could be bought in an affordable price range. 15 homes did sell for under $650k, but the homes in this price range are extremely competitive. So far in 2016, the prices in this have been tending to max out around a little over $2 million. The most in demand area in Haiku has been along East and West Kuiaha Road and contain some magical properties with a tremendous amount of privacy.
Highest priced Haiku home sold this year
The highest priced home sold for $2,190,000. The property is a spectacular estate with over 2 acres, a main house, yoga studio, and an ohana. Beautiful ocean and mountain views wrap around the spacious lanai with plenty of space in this custom North Shore home.
In the Haiku market, a home about the middle of the market (just under $1 million) would consist of a Hawaiian plantation house and equestrian property just off Kokomo Road. The house is a classic plantation style house with a lovely lanai that wraps around the leeward side of the house.
The lowest priced home sold for $315,000. It was a REO property with over 2 acres and boasts a traditional Haiku home built back in the late 70’s. The home itself is over 1300 square feet, 3 bedroom, and 2 baths.
