Top 3 Sales of 2015 by the Sayles Team

It’s no coincidence that all of our top 3 sales in 2015 were in the Ho’olei complex. We are the Wailea experts when it comes to all things Ho’olei. We have an onsite real estate information office and are available to visitors and interested parties 7 days a week! We take great care in producing and providing the most accurate information about the Ho’olei market.

1. Ho’olei 87-3

Ho’olei Villa 87-3 was the highest priced listing we sold last year and we were able to sell it as a pocket listing. The unit at first did not sell when it was available as a publicly offered Ho’olei condo for sale. However, after a short time of being off the market, we brought a buyer to our seller and ended up representing both parties. We closed the deal for $3.1 million.

The condo sits on the most coveted location in the community. Situated in the middle of the upper belt of the neighborhood, Villa 87-3 has panoramic views of Molokini, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Ma’alaea. The view alone will sell this unit, I urge you to come check it out even if you have the slightest interest.

2. Ho’olei 75-5

A successful Ho’olei closing at an even $3 million, we breezed through a quick escrow of less than two months. We had the unit listed with us for some time now and reduced the original list price a couple of  times before we entered escrow a few days after the Fourth of July.

The top row location is worth every penny as the lanai captures amazing views of South Maui; the third row is elevated enough to take advantage of views not many Wailea condos can rival. I personally love the lanai and would make the most use of it as possible, it’s hard to get over a view like 75-5’s. The unit is pretty much in the middle of the community and has clear sight lines to enjoy the view as much as possible.

3. Ho’olei 99-4

Sitting atop the third row in the Ho’olei community, Villa 99-4 was always going to command top dollar because of the unit’s elevation in the complex and view corridor from the lanai. With three beds, three baths, and 2600+ sqaure feet of living space, the villa is spacious with room to accommodate everyone comfortably. After a 30k price reduction from the original list price, we were able to get the unit into escrow in late April of 2015. We were able to move through a 6 week escrow and close the property for $3 million.
