The Best Pools at Wailea Condos

Pristine Pool Choices at Wailea Condos

When buyers are buying into condo complexes in the Wailea Resort, there are pricey maintence fees required by each complex on a monthly basis. So it would only make sense to make the most of what those fees pay for. Every condo community houses a pool, but all all pool areas are not created equal or with as much attention to detail. Across the Resort there are certainly pools that stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Elevated Views

Kai Malu

Kai Malu is located in an upper part of the Wailea Resort which is great for the views from the community. The pool and clubhouse area take advantage of a wide open view corridor overlooking the Old Wailea Blue Golf Course and all the way to West Maui. Among the Wailea condos, the view from Kai Malu’s pool area has grown a reputation for having one of the best views in all of South Maui.

Wailea Palms

The Wailea Palms also has a breath taking views as it is a slightly lower elevation than Kai Malu. A lot of the times, the pool area and pool house are totally empty because the complex does not allow vacation rentals. The area surrounding the pool is wide open and offers a sense of peacefulness as it is a quiet and relaxing spot to go for a swim. The Palms at Wailea, which is just next door and has a similar view but is far more crowded (with short term rental guest).

Wailea Palms Villa 3802

Listed since late of October of last year, the unit first Wailea Palms villa 3802 came to market at a list price of $965,000. Since then, it has undergone once price reduction of $35k in February of 2016 and has been listed at $930,000 for over 5 months now. The unit carries a monthly maintenance fee of $808 since the unit is on the large side at 1194 square feet.

Papali Wailea

Papali Wailea is just down the road from the Wailea Palms, so it also shares similar views of West Maui and out towards the ocean. The complexes on the Kihei side of Wailea have better views than others because they tend to be at slightly higher elevations and intentionally designed their pool areas to have sweeping views. The 75 foot long infinity edge pool is a joy to swim and is also less crowded than others because Papali Wailea only has 24 units in the entire complex.

Wailea Beach Villas

The Wailea Beach Villas has several pools throughout the community and some units even small plunge pools off their back lanai. But there is one pool at Wailea Beach Villas that is absolutely spectacular, it is the infinity edge and adult only pool closest to the beach. From the pool area, views out towards Kaho’olawe and West Maui are some of the dreamiest views offered by a pool area. The beach is also with in 75 yards or so of the pool, so it is easy to go back and forth from one to the other.

World Class Wailea Beach Villa E102

Brought to market in early May, Wailea Beach Villas E102 is valued at around $4,450,000 and is priced in the upper third of the community. The condo carries a $3500 maintenance fee which covers a fitness center, club room, security, concierge, a front desk, and other services upon request. The unit is on the larger side for Wailea condos and is just under 3000 square feet with three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. The villa actually lives more like a 3500 square foot condo because of the 600 square feet of lanai space that utilize outdoor space to its advantage.

Wailea Elua

No more than 75 yards from the world class Ulua Beach, the Wailea Elua pool area is the perfect beachfront hangout spot. The comfortable chairs provided by the pool house are a comfortable spot to catch some sun and relax in the sunny Wailea days. The complex has another pool area more inland, but this spot fronting the beach provides safe and easy access to the pool and the sandy white sands of Ulua Beach.

Just Listed: 2nd Floor Remodeled Wailea Elua Villa 2306

Listed in the mid July of 2016, Wailea Elua villa 2306 sits at the top of the market (at the time of writing) with a price tag of $2,300,000. It’s easy to see why the unit is priced so high, it boasts upgraded kitchen features, tile floors, upgraded bathrooms, and the unit is extremely clean. The last time the property was sold was back in 2007 at the height of the market; so back then it demanded a pretty penny, and today it is still commanding an offer just as high.

Ho’olei

One of the most exclusive communities in all of Wailea, Ho’olei’s pool is unmatched by any Wailea condo complex. The rock walls and cascading waterfall simulate Maui’s natural beauty, while the lounge area surrounding the pool is a soothing place to relax along side the tranquil blue waters of the pool. Many of the owners and visitors (short term rental guest) will bring down their lunch and have a picnic at one of the tables and then go for a nice swim before and after they eat. Their is also staff on site to assists guests with any needs or questions.

Lowest Priced Ho’olei Villa Available

For some time now, we have had Ho’olei villa 24-3 listed; there has been interest among a few buyers but none that were serious enough to write an offer. In an effort to get the conversation going, we have now reduced the price by $40k to conjure up some serious, ready, willing, and able buyers.

At a fresh list price of $1,950,000, this Ho’olei should be even more of an attractive option to potential buyers. The potential rental income and reduced purchase price make this unit a very desirable investment opportunity or a chance to get into the Wailea resort for a cut price.
