Makali’i, Where Life Takes Flight

The development will be home to 68 luxurious units strictly emphasizing the essence of indoor and outdoor living, a crucial lifestyle component to harnessing all of Wailea’s stunning beauty. The units fall somewhere in the $1-$2.5 million range. They plan to have showroom units available in December to preview and then will begin to roll out units for public purchase in January 2016.

The developers described the complex in three words: Light. Elegant. Sustainable. They intended to design the 4 luxury town homes and 17 buildings in a Mid Century Modern Hawiiana style with large and open spaces (9-13 foot ceilings). The condos are going to be located above the Fairmont Kea Lani, mauka of the golf course about 100 feet.

Wailea Golf Estates Phase II

Don’t miss the chance to get in on the ground floor of phase II in the coveted Wailea Golf Estates, once in a lifetime chance to build or buy your dream home. Interestingly enough, the developers are giving the option to take the lot as is or they will allow buyers to select the option of buying the lot with a home, they are planned to fall in he range of 2800-4700 sf.

Keala O Wailea

Keala O Wailea will consist of 70 units in total, ranging from 2 & 3 bedrooms offering 4 different floor plans, with condo sizes in the range of 1200+ to 1700+ square feet. There are three different interior color tones to choose from with my favorite being the Makai: “This palette draws its inspiration from the sunny brightness of a day at the beach, with the cream and white tones of sand and foaming surf, and the blue reflections of an azure sky.”

The units are priced in the $700,000-$1,800,000 range.

Kamala Kai

A little before Wailea is Kihei and it will be home to Kamala Kai. Up to 40 of the units will be affordable housing and will be in a coveted location, only one block from Cove park.  The complex will have 39 three bedroom units ranging from $300-$500k with lanais in between 800-900 sf.  There is a full time Maui resident requirement, half of the units will be for people 55 years and older.

Makaloa on Maui Nui Golf Course

Located at former the Maui Elleair Golf Course, Makaloa on the Maui Nui Golf Course is the second community to lay claim to land on the mauka side of the highway. The planned site will span about 17 acres of real estate near Kihei’s first golf course community, Hokulani Golf Villas. There will be 68 units: 26 homes with 3-4 bedrooms and 2000-2400 sf.; 42 townhomes with 2-3 bedrooms and 1800-2100 sf.
