West side business is always nice to handle as it’s a good chance to gain perspective against the Wailea Real Estate we tend to handle. We initially opened escrow for Opukea Unit F207 back in mid August and after close to six weeks in escrow or so we closed for $466,165. Opukea boasts resort style living for parties interested in a swanky condo lifestyle or their home away from home. Opukea is within walking distance to beaches, historic Front Street, shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment. Since the unit came in new construction condition and still under developer offering, our clients got a clean slate to put their finishing touches on their unit and custom fit it to their style.

The unit in all is two beds, two baths with 1269 square feet. The guest bedroom immediately flanks to your left as you enter through the front door, with the kitchen directly across from the guest bedroom. The units here are not short term rentable and the community make up is more of long term residents.

This year to date there has been 29 units sold so far in the community bringing a running total for 2015 to$14,892,170. The average going rate for a condo in Opukea is fetching just north of $500,000 at$513,523. The lowest priced unit sold this year was for $415,000 and is a two bed, two bath units with decent ocean views. The highest priced unit sold for $727,645 and is a 4 bed, three bath unit with over 1800 square feet. The median sold price for a home stands at $505,295. DR Horton is the developer offering the units and they do a fantastic job with their offerings.
