Enjoy this special celebration of the Hawaiian culture with Maui’s own Halau Kekuaokala’au’ala’iliahi as they present a reflection and artful expression of the Wailuku-based halau’s first ten years. In 2004, they welcomed new members of all ages and levels into their halau and have been practicing ever since. They will hold their event at 6:00 p.m. on October 11 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center with tickets priced at $25 and $35.

6th Annual Lahaina Plantation Days

This weekend, the West Side will be celebrating it’s nostalgic past! The days when the sugar and pineapple industry dominated the economy. The event will be held at the Old Pioneer Mill Co. smokestack next to 277 Lahainaluna Road. Acres of free parking will be provided during the event hours of 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on both days.

Follow the 8 Man Seabury Hall Football Team

I always have to give a shout out to my alma mater, the Seabury Hall Spartans who are the two year reigning MIL champs. They’ve kicked off their title defense in splendid fashion with three wins in three games. They have games every week in October alternating days between Thursday, Saturday, and Friday; stay up to date with their schedule here.
