Wild Dolphin Sand Sculpture Contest at Keawakapu Beach

Keawakapu Beach  is one of the most beautiful beaches on South Maui. In fact, I would even say it’s one of the best beaches on Maui, Hawaii. It is not very crowded. It has parking across the street  (next to Wailea Kai). It has a clean shower on the pathway entrance from South Kihei Road to Keawakapu beach. The sand there is soft. The ocean is calm enough for kids to play at, but also good enough to try Stand Up Paddling. This beach is popular among locals. A great hang out beach, a beach to run, and some even go snorkeling and fishing there.

I was browsing through a list of summer fun events coming up on Maui and this event about Sand Sculpture Contest at Keawakapu caught my eyes. I thought this is a fun family event that needs to be shared. So, here am I writing a post about it.
